The pencil skirt is a very forgiving cut if you find the right model. And it is back in style with a bang.

Initially I was looking for a mini high-waisted white leather skirt when I bought this one with a plan to tailor it. Now I am not sure whether I have to ruin it’s pencil shape. What do you think, to shorten or not?

This vintage skirt is unique for me. My mother bought it many years ago at a flea market, she used to wear it very often and I loved seeing how beautiful she was while wearing it. When I was a child I love to play with my mother’s and this skirt was one of my favorite item. Of course, at the time it was very big on me but it didn’t matter.

It’s nothing new that I love vintage clothing. The other day I showed you a Caribbean shirt and today – a very retro shirt that I found in my mother’s trunk… I love the cut it has, normally I don’t like to show my belly,  but in this summer season everything is allowed, right?
