The Red Hot Chili Peppers was a household name for me while growing up. I grew up listening to my older brother´s CDs, so Californication or Other Side wasn´t new to me.
I was so excited when I learned that the band was going to Cologne for a concert. I have never been to a rock concert before but the thought of dressing up for the night & a different streetstyle atmosphere was too hard to pass up!
So i packed my “rock and roll” outfit”: think studs, sneakers & of course my camera ( a blogger´s most important weapon) and hopped on a train with high expectations. I ended up wearing a different outfit than what i packed though (typical blogger syndrome!). As soon as I saw these amazing New Yorker red leather pants on my hotel room (Pullman Cologne was AMAZING!), i knew i had to wear it that night (you can check out a detailed outfit post is HERE!!) Added a pair of killer high heels and my outfit was done!
Though i didn´t know their new album “I am With You”, i wasn´t disappointed. I danced the night away with my high heels (i surprisingly survived the night with them) while Anthony Kiedis really rocked the place.
Give it Away was a nice crowning end to that really wonderful night!
After the show, armed with my camera, i wandered the premises and searched for fashionably dressed people! I found quite a lot which is very surprising for a rock concert! What do you think? I have to say honestly, there were definitely more stylish men than girls this time!

Thank you to all the people who were soo AMAZING to pose for the camera for me! <3
So all in all, this night was one for the books! Probably not my last rock concert too!

hello guys!
how´s your week so far?
mine has been great!
aside from finally finding THIS backpack (which i have been searching for so long now!), i am really enjoying my free time chilling and practically doing nothing!

I really think aztec & ikat prints are gonna be HUGE this fall & winter. what do you think?

we spontaneously drove to france yesterday for a quick getaway!
we live by the border & strasbourg is starting to feel like my second home. HAHA
i still have to wait two weeks before my summer vacation starts, so this has to do for the moment.
crepes, baguettes & macarons at Paul and carousel with miguel & the man!
ahhhh. sometimes i wish i was born french.

There isn’t better color than white for a walk through the narrow streets of Ibiza, in a way you can feel lost in the crowd and enter the awesome shops that the island offers you late in evening.

Cloudy Day in Formentera

These pics are from one of those days that dawn cloudy and raining, you wake up and don`t know if you can go to the beach or not. But, of course you take your bikini just in case the weather gives you a chance to splash in the sea. As you see finally I am getting into the water even wearing my skirt. The best part was that there was nobody on the beach
I can’t end this post without mentioning the lizard, besides being the symbol of Formentera he poses as a model, he should have a blog hahaha

frolicking in the sand & loading up some sun.

but beggars can´t be choosers, so decided to wear it on a normal day here in my town anyway.

felt like a goddess though, so no regrets!

My Birthday

Today is my birthday! I love it be in summer and be a “Leo” girl. I don’t know what I`ll do to celebrate it , whatever comes up, but sure I’ll share this day with my family and friends.

These photos are a mix of Formentera, I’d like celebrate it there and had the presence of the nice girl I met on the beach that made mojitos while you sunbathe in the most deserted areas.

Today I want to homage the beautiful Formentera`s beaches. I’m in love with this island, the people, the relaxation you can feel there, the white sand and crystal beaches … I’d like be there at least a month, but you know that all good things always comes to the end : (

I am also showing you my beach outfit. I’m not a really big fan of dressing up for these occasions. I prefer the shorts or the hippie clothes that you can wear without worrying about a stain. What do you wear for going to the beach?

HOGWARTS EXPRESS!

the location of our photoshoot reminded me so much of the hogwarts express and inspired me to write something private.

we watched the last part of the harry potter series last monday and i am not ashamed to admit that i cried buckets of tears.
harry potter was and will be a very important part of my childhood.
reading the books, waiting for the film, anticipating for the next book. AHHH. the thrill!
it was like i was a part of harry, ron & hermione´s gang.
my dad couldn´t afford to buy us copies when i was young so we always waited until our friends were finished with theirs and borrowed their books.
but since i started earning money of my own, i bought the adult hardcover set and read it million times over and over again.

j.k. rowling´s story of being rejected by a lot of publishing houses before someone believed in her and her genius of a story, is kinda like my life story.

Playing with bubbles on the street? Yes!!! It’s seems I’m back to childhood, also, because I am wearing a pink playsuit.

I love to wear scarfs in different ways. In this occasion, I am wearing one of my vintage scarfs as a belt to adjust my waist, and give the outfit more color and dynamism.

this was my last day outfit at berlin fashion week. you might remember this outfit from THIS post. i was requested by some streetstyle blogs to wear the outfit again so i happily complied as i LOVE this outfit very much. a reason to repeat it is VERY welcome!

i think i got photographed at least 20 times that day and my shoes about 50? <3
