HELP ME OUT!
For those who are following me on instagram or twitter know something about this picture.
Since a few weeks I wanted to buy the Alexander Wang Anouck boots –> on the right.. I wanted to buy some designer shoes which looks amazing, are comfortable and affordable.
And then there was a moment I walked in to a store, with both shoes next to each other. So I could try them on, walk on them and feel them and now I don’t know what to do. The Isabel Marant Lazio boots are everything I don’t need: not really comfortable and waaaay to expensive for a student/worker/have my own place. BUT: They are one of the most beautiful shoes I’ve ever seen. And I’m saving some money for shoes so maybe I do can buy them.
So this is the moment to ask you a question!
Could you please help me choose! And don’t tell the shoes you like the most but tell me the shoes that fits ME the most!

I think we all have been in this situation before!
And most of the people say that you should buy the things you fell in love with because you will wear them more etc. etc. But with shoes it´s even more complicated, because if they are not really comfortable you will not wear them that much at all.
So I would definitely stay with the Alexander Wang Boots (and by the way; they are so “you” at all and I find them really adorable- but that´s just my opinion)!

honesty, i find first one so ugly and think that second one fit your style much better, besides why would you spent money on uncomfortable AND expencive shoes?

I think you should definitely buy the ones that wiil be worn the most (i.e. the comfortable and classic ones). I find that the Isabel Marant ones are a bit too trendy and not as timeless as the chelsea boots.
I think both very much suit your style, but it seems you’ll get more use out of 2nd pair. Plus, they’re not suede so you can wear them in all sorts of weather/ are not as high maintenance! Also, since you’d had several weeks of thought over the wangs, definitely get those (after all, those were the ones you planned to buy!)

I think the Wang’s suits your style the best. Because it is simple and has got a slight edge with the silver hardware at the back of the boot. From your outfits on your blog I think this is what you will like and will suit you the best! XOXO

Oh help dat is inderdaad moeilijk. De Anouck laarzen zijn tijdloos maar die van Isabel Marant zijn zoooo mooi! Aangezien de Anouck’s tijdloos zijn en dus ook nog verkrijgbaar over een tijd zou ik voor de Isabel Marants gaan…

Wang! Persoonlijk vind ik de IM’s leuker, maar voor jouw stijl, portemonnee en het feit dat je ze niet zo comfortabel vond zitten -en ze dus waarschijnlijk vaker id kast zullen blijven staan- zou ik naar je hart luisteren en sticken bij de Wangs. Uit ervaring weet ik dat je altijd bij je errste keus moet blijven. Ik bedoel 500€ in je kast is een beetje zonde toch?

Go for Marant! on one hand i think the wangs fit you perfectly, no doubt but you already have these kind of chelsea boots if i remember right. so why buying the same twice? okay, the boots u have are no wangs but u really have something similar that fits your style perfectly. u see boots similar to these all over but i didn’t see some marant look-a-likes yet. they are just marant, and they are gorgeous!
so i think u do better to pay a little more and set a new milestone in your own closet

Honestly I love IM shoes. I’m hoping to snag a *different* pair of boots from IM this season. But I don’t find that the Lazio boot is very flattering on the leg. There’s a photo on Columbine Smille’s blog that shows what they look like but I’m still not convinced. I’ve gone through several pairs of Alexander Wang shoes and they are rarely (as in, never) comfortable but I’ve only ever owned his heels, never boots/flats. Either way I think the Anouk is MUCH more versatile, much more YOU, and probably can walk in them longer since they’re not wedge, just small boot heel. It’s easy to say “I want the IM” just because they ARE Isabel Marant but this style doesn’t seem too versatile plus the front is goat which is hard to maintain. Final vote: AW.

Ik vind de Isabel Marant geweldig, maar zoals je al aangeeft is dit een enorme investering en dus eigenlijk te duur. Niet doen dus! Nu de IM’s ook niet lekker zitten dan zou ik voor het andere paar gaan (al zijn die niet mijn smaak maar jij moet ze aan).

ALEXANDER WANG BOOTS! Ik denk dat je die vaker zult dragen om twee redenen: ze passen ten eerste bij meer looks: edgy, stoer, comfy, stlylish (love the details!), en ten tweede zijn ze veel COMFORTABELER. Daarbij denk ik dat je al héél veel nette laarsjes (zo zie ik de marant laarsjes) hebt. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan je zara enkellaarsjes met punt (ook al oncomfortabel), en alle andere “open” hakken die je hebt. Als laatste denk ik dat de Alexander Wang laarsjes veel meer een ‘timeless’ musthave zijn!
