YOU MELT! MY HEART.

the melt! festival was so far the smallest festival among the 5 other ones we´ve already visited, but somehow one of the best i´ve been to.
the location was great. so great that i must have shot 43786582 pictures of that crane!
the weather was moody (NO SURPRISE!) but i couldn´t complain as sun was shining most of the time!
and the line- up was just awesome. thinking of a better adjective to describe it but yeah, awesome sums it up perfectly!
we really had a great time listening to the rapture & lana del rey, dancing to techno music (which was funny after some cocktails!) and slurping fresh smoothies and eating pierogi.
i hope these pictures somehow depict how great the weekend went. will definitely come back again. actually, I CAN´T WAIT!

inspir-HAIR-ation.

EDGY BOBS @ Alexandra Kiesel x Designer for Tomorrow

SOPHISTICATED BUNS @ Lena Criveanu x Romanian Designers#

SLEEK MIDDLE PARTING @ Von Bardonitz

RELAXED CURLS @ Marcel Ostertag

WET LOOK + GLITTER @ twenty(2)too x Romanian Designers

the first thing i look at a collection are shoes.
directly after, hairstyles.
then the clothes.
WEIRD, NO?
i think sometimes the hairstyling makes or breaks the whole show.
which hairstyle is your favorite?
mine has to be the sleek middle parting at Von Bardonitz, mainly because i can never pull off that look since i have been sporting bangs since i am 6 years old and my forehead is HUGEEEE!

all pictures are shot by me.

THE BOYFRIEND DIARIES.

PATRICK MOHR A/W 2012 – 2013
all images are shot by me

when i was watching this show i was thinking how greatly my boyfriend would have loved this collection.
it was such a breath of fresh air to see clothes that can be worn on the real world for a change.
loved how the designer put on some extra details to make this collection not like something off the high street stores.

you see, my boyfriend doesn´t care (read: give a damn) about fashion.
he is the typical shirt- jeans- sneakers type of guy.
not that i don´t like that at all, it´s just sometimes i want to dress him up in stuff i see on the runway or on my favorite streetstyle blogs.
but i have long given up the case.
what about you?

would love to hear your boyfriend stories!

Romanian Designers | Lucian Broscatean
// all pictures by me

okay another highlight of the whole week was the collection of my friend Lucian.
not that i was expecting the opposite, but it was seriously great.
i think better than the last one (which i thought wasn´t possible).
once i set foot backstage, i knew that he´ll hit it again this time.
the clean cuts, the innovative shape of the coats, the details, the drapings, the tailoring,
EVERYTHING was perfect.
i exchanged my seat for a spot on the photographers pit to really capture the beauty of the collection,
and boy am i glad!

Lucian, if you´re reading this, i wish you all the success you truly deserve.
you will be the next big thing, i can sense it!

THE SHOE PROJECT.

PAIR NUMERO IV – Isabel Marant Cleane Boots

i have decided to start this small “The Shoe Project” documenting all the shoes i have acquired for 2012 and mini stories behind the acquisition.
what do you think?
anyway, YESSS finally got a hold of these elusive IM boots.
i have been searching them everywhere to a point of no success.
so before my trip back home from Berlin Fash Week, i decided to have a quick peek at The Corner, and there they were, sitting perfectly waiting for me.

shoutout to the super friendly sales assistant who was tempting me to get the red ones as well.
you rock.

BEIJING TAKING OVER BERLIN.

BEAUTYBERRY by Wang Yutao presented by Mercedes Benz & ELLE

Here are some shots from my favorite show so far!
So aside from the fact that Wang Yutao is from my side of the globe and a renowned designer in China, his collection was breathtaking!
The women´s dresses were just so floaty perfect.
The men´s collection is exactly how i picture my boyfriend´s style in my dreams.
A mix of fur, leather and tweed.
Very London Chic. It is said to be a homage to the upcoming Olympic Games hosted by England.
I got goosebumps after the show.
Honestly.

PS: more updates from Berlin Fashion Week coming soon!
