Stripes are my favorite print, two tones or multicolored I don't care, I just love it all, because it's a print that always work. This year striped pants are the must have, do you like them or prefer to wear stripes as a basic item?

Of course, it's the repetitive trend, but it's still up-to-date: stars and stripes. At the moment fast fashion retail stores are fully stocked with this particular print. What you should also know about the print that is nothing more than a nickname for the american flag and the print emerges as a classical summer trend from year to year. When I think more about it, I can remember, the stars and stripes trend playing a role since several seasons already and it get's recurred every decade.

Few weeks ago in Los Angeles, Coachella festival was the place to be, since the festival is known as one of the biggest and most famous music festivals worldwide. The guest list include rock stars, actors, models and other celebrities who happen to be perceived as trend setters for the rest of a summer. As you can imagine, the stars and stripes trend was one of the main trends spotted in the festival this year: Shorts, disrupted shirts or self-made tops, in general the stars and stripes print was seen everywhere. In my opinion, it's a kind of freedom, that the print symbolizes to all of us and no wonder, that we admire the trend especially during a summer season when freedom, happiness and fun are playing a big role.

Nevertheless, clothing printed with the stars and stripes print are an eye-catcher and I would categorize them as statement pieces. Actually, you don't need additional accessories to complete the look and as the flower print it happens to  be quite independent. One of my favorite items are pants and I adore these denim pants by New Yorker, that are currently in stores. In order to complete the look, you just need a pair of  sneakers, basic T-shirt and you´ll feel like a rock star.

Apart from the pants, I have also found this adorable bikini, featured in the collage above, and it's currently my favorite beachwear. Do you like it?
