Details To Keep Me Warm

Today I changed my scarf for this amazing necklace!

MY WARDROBE

My cloting rack, with some of the clothes that I wear often right now. My current wardrobe doesn’t include a lot of colors, and most of the items are really minimal and easy on this rack. (This is just a part of my wardrobe)

THE BOYFRIEND DIARIES.

PATRICK MOHR A/W 2012 - 2013 all images are shot by me

when i was watching this show i was thinking how greatly my boyfriend would have loved this collection. it was such a breath of fresh air to see clothes that can be worn on the real world for a change. loved how the designer put on some extra details to make this collection not like something off the high street stores.  you see, my boyfriend doesn´t care (read: give a damn) about fashion. he is the typical shirt- jeans- sneakers type of guy. not that i don´t like that at all, it´s just sometimes i want to dress him up in stuff i see on the runway or on my favorite streetstyle blogs. but i have long given up the case. what about you?

would love to hear your boyfriend stories!

Dark dreams

Lines and contrasts have been keywords lately and once I saw the shirt with lacquer panels I was more then intrigued to work in those lines.
It has been so cold lately that I almost lost my face (I have also shaved my head once again and I'm not sure if that was the best idea with the cold) and providing layers underneath my fur coat is a must.
Starting with the neckline I will probably invest in some long sleeves with turtlenecks since I think they look amazing underneath shorter jumpers or shirts.
Somehow the cold also makes me turn to darker colors such as darker lips which I haven't worn in a long time.
But it couldn't hold me from adding one hint of color.
In the end that will probably always be me.

90s Child

The 90s were never an era that I particularly loved. Horror images of Buffalo trainers (we hate them now but all wanted them then), scrunchies, wearing woolen tights with oversized t-shirts and my huge sticker collection pop into my mind when I think back upon this decade that I grew up in. Of course I loved the Backstreet Boys, the Spice Girls and desperately wanted to go to the Loveparade but the trends were pretty cringe worthy. The square toe boots and the oversized vintage men's shearling jacket remind me of NYC in the film Night on Earth from the early 90s and it's my attempt on channeling this decade that I'm starting to embrace and possibly even fall in love with. P.S. My glasses are finally back!
