I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas and recovered from your food hangovers (and other ones)! Alasdair's father cooked the most delicious meals for the 24th and the 25th and both nights ended with ridiculous, noisy games and lots of empty wine bottles. Playing sherades after you've had one too many is always a good idea. I think I've managed to eat my weight in food in the last few days. I played my favourite Christmas song so many times in the last few days, The Pogues- Fairytale of New York. What is yours?

so i am back from a VERY quick trip to amsterdam in time for the holidays! i met up with Sabrina from afterDRK for a project i am working on, which you´ll know more about soon! and met with Cindy from COTTDS for a very sumptuous dinner! we had like 4 hours to see Amsterdam (impossible, i know) the next day until our train arrived. no Van Gogh Museum, no Anne Frank House or Hermitage, just a quick walk around the 9 streets for a quick lunch (SUSHI!) and some shopping. a girl has to set her priorities, no?
i think i just fell deeply in love with this city. i will surely be back.

While I was browsing true an old issue of Self Service magazine my eyes fell upon a quote by Bruce Mau.
" When the outcome drives the process, we will only ever go to where we've already been. If process drives the outcome we may not know where we're are going but we will know we want to be there."
The whole part written by Ezra Petronio got my thinking.
I often feel like I am so focused on the outcome that I forget the process which is sometimes even more important.
Any experience defines who you are and where you will be.
